Algar Waterfalls

Looking for a refreshing encounter with mother nature, or just in search of an effective hangover cure after a big night out? Then a visit to Benidorm's truly 'natural' spa, the Algar Waterfalls, is definitely recommended by Henorita. Your guide will meet you at your accommodation and you will be taken out of town up into the Sierra de Bernia mountain range.
The Algar river flows through a lush green valley about 25 minutes drive from Benidorm. The waterfalls have scenic walkways, paths and steps following the course of the river which makes each level accessible to most. Enjoy a leisurely walk in this specially preserved natural area lined with reeds, rushes and bamboo and relax in the shady spots provided by the variety of trees. |
You can have a revitalising shower under the main cascades or just chill out in the choice of crystal clear pools. For the daring ones among you, make sure you stop at the Toll Blau (the blue pool) where you can dive off a wooden platform into the deep refreshing water below.
After all the swimming, walking and relaxing, you will no doubt feel a bit hungry so we will take you for a Spanish paella lunch at a local restaurant where you can eat, drink and chill out for a while. Then it's back to Benidorm for a siesta to prepare you for the evening out on the town! |
