Paintballing
 |
Ok girls, as you got so far as to open this page you must be interested already?? For all the adventurous hens, who don't mind breaking a nail or two, paintballing is a fun, challenging and different way to spend an afternoon. You will be met by your Henorita guide and taken by bus just 10KM away from Benidorm, to an area in the countryside prepared for paintballing pursuits.
When you arrive you will be briefed by the paintballing instructors to ensure you have a safe but fun time. You will then be kitted out in all the overalls and safety equipment (mask, neck protector & breast plate, designed for girls too) and given your automatic CO2 propelled paintball gun. |
There are various different missions that you can choose from, but in all both teams compete to capture flags from each other. One example is 'storming the fort', one team must defend the fort by firing through the windows at the enemy. To complete the mission successfully, the opposing team outside must venture to the back of the fort, climb up the stairs and grab the flag from the roof without being shot more than three times.
Don't be surprised or think you are a pathetic shot, if you get through loads of paint balls - paint guns are not exactly accurate when it comes to hitting your mate 30 metres away. Your price does include 100 paintballs per person but remember to bring some extra Euros just in case you want more (available for €10.00 for 100).
During the afternoon you will get quite hot and dirty so make sure you wear some old clothes (t-shirt and shorts and trainers) and if possible, bring a pair of gloves. It is also a good idea to bring a spare t-shirt to change into afterwards. The paintballs are biodegradable however, and will rinse out with water. |

Henorita's Hint:
You're going to be running around like a headless chicken half the time, and the rest of the time stalking your mates and jumping into the nearest hedge. You start off cold and clean (assuming you practice personal hygiene), and you end up hot and dirty. Take clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Take trainers or boots that will help you run around safely on uneven terrain.
And finally, don't forget your pesetas when it comes to buying extra ammo - you're going to need it.
