This is one for those of you who want to make the most of the great weather the long summer has to offer on the Costa Blanca and fancy a bit of cool refreshing action. Each of these 3 activities are guaranteed to give you the refreshing wake up call, you are in need of the day after the night before! Choose between the Raft, Banana or Flyfish!
The rafting ride is a thrilling experience that uses a specially designed inflatable flat raft to enable you to skim across the surface of the sea. The wake of the speedboat makes for a bumpy but comfortable 15 minute ride for up to five people and also forms liquid ramps with the surface so that you can momentarily take off! So, enjoy the fresh and fast sensation as you slide across the water and there's no chance of staying dry!! |
There are two banana rides available, a long one that seats 10 people and another double one that seats up to 12. The ride lasts 20 minutes during which time you will be towed along in the wake of the speedboat. You'll need good balance and a vice like grip to try and stay on when the driver decides to change the boats course!
The Flyfish is the newest ride to take to Benidorm's waters. It seats 6 people at a time & lasts 15 minutes. The design allows the air to be forced underneath it when it is towed along at speed by the boat. So when you least expect it the Flyfish will buck like a wild bull and you will be hurled off into the sea with a splash!
The rides operate everyday from mid April to mid October (unless the weather is very bad...which is rare at this time of year in Benidorm). If you are not riding or you are waiting for the others to have their go you have a gorgeous beach to relax on. So top up your tan and enjoy watching the world go by. |
