Do you want to try something different and visit another
world on your hen weekend? A ‘Discover Scuba’ session enables you to sample this amazing experience without the need of a Scuba Diving or Open Water Certificate. In Benidorm the average sea temperature is 20˚C, so it’s
an activity that can be enjoyed all year round. (wet suits are included
of course). |

You will be
in the hands of professionals as they take you through the preliminary
steps to get you swimming with the fishes in just a few hours. First you
will try a dive in a swimming pool to get used to the feeling of breathing
underwater. You will be taught the basics which includes a video theory
lesson in English, after which you’ll get to go for an ocean dive
accompanied by an expert. |

You must be in good health (no heart conditions, bad
asthma etc.) and you need to fill in a medical questionnaire. You´ll also be required to fill in a waiver form so make sure you are covered for diving on your holiday insurance. But you can rest assured that the diving school does meet all the required international PADI & SSI
standards. |

We will take you to one of Benidorm´s tranquil coves in the Sierra Helada Natural Park where you will put on all the necessary kit and enter the water from the beach. You´ll
get the chance to descend to a depth of 6-7 metres for a full tank dive
(approx. 40mins) and be able to safely enjoy the undersea sights. |

There is one instructor for every two divers so you´ll be well taken care of. You´ll
be guided around the underwater reef, shown things of interest and made
to feel completely comfortable. When you finish you will be given a CD
souvenir including a photo of you in your diving gear as well as a chart
showing the different Mediterranean sea life. |

For groups of more than
about 8, the main dive will be split into 2 sessions, leaving those who
aren´t diving to relax on the beach or enjoy some snorkelling. As the depth you will be diving to will not exceed 12 metres there isn´t a problem with flying, as long as your flight is not within 12 hours. If you’ve never experienced the beauty of the underwater world with Scuba Diving, then here’s
